.A guarantee is only as good as the company offering it. and because of this intending spa pool owners should choose a reputable builder.
If you choose a reputable builder, you have the assurance that the pool is properly constructed, based on sound engineering principles and that if any problems arise the builder will stand by his job. Economising on materials or using unskilled labour may prove to be false economy and may result in major failure of the shell structure.
Beware of a low initial spa price because this may not be a full quotation. There should be a breakdown on the cost of all the items and the quote should include free service checks on the work-
ing of the filtration plant and water treatment for six months. Ask the builder to show you at least four or five spa pools that have been installed for at least 12 months. Checklist • Make sure that the builder has the necessarywork force to complete the job. 0 Is the builder a member of the N.Z.S.P.A.? 0 How may spas has the company built? © How many years experience has the company had at pool building? ® What qualifications does the builder have? • Does the builder have the ability to carry out water analysis and does he have formal water treatment training?
