Kaiteriteri Motor Camp changes management
Neville and Daphne Stretch, the former managers of the Riwaka Hotel for two years, have just taken over management of the Kaiteriteri Motor Camp. They replace Jack and Olive Duncan who were in charge of the camp for the past nine years (and who declined io be photographed). During those years, the Duncans saw the camp grow in size and popularity to the extent that it is already booked out from the beginning to the end of next January. “It is a lovely camp to run," Olive Duncan said, “and it is the type of people who camp here who make it so good. “There has been a lot of work gone into this place, much of which you can not see. such as the'new sewerage schemed
“We’ve worked in this area seven davs a week for the past 30 years, and now we're going to do all the normal things normal people do in holiday time. We’re going to do some boating, fishing and white baiting. “We officially ended here at the end o'f June, and now would also like to
do some landscaping at our house at Motueka," Olive said. Regular visitors to the camp may be surprised not to see Jack and Olive Duncan there at the end of the year but they are confidently leaving the resort in the capable hands of . Neville and Daphne Stretch.
