Art for Museum
The Culture Ministry has announced that part of an art collection confiscated from the actress Sophia Loren will be given to a museum in Caserta, where the actress recently completed serving a prison term for tax evasion. The 156 paintings and 10 pieces of sculpture were seized from Miss Loren’s villa in a suburb of Rome in 1977 when she was being investigated on charges of illegal export of capital. — Rome '
