Tattoo clue to man’s identity?
PA ’ Auckland A tattoo on the right forearm of a Polynesian man ’found hanging from a tree in Auckland is thought to be the main clue to his identity, according to Auckland policemen inquiring into his death. The man was found hanging from a tree in Western Park, Ponsonby, on Saturday morning. He is described as between 30 and 45 years old, 175 cm (sft 9in) in height, and of medium build. He Was wearing a blue jacket, jeans, and running shoes. The tattoo is of an eagle carrying a basket of fish.
Anyone who knows of a man fitting. this description with such a tattoo is asked to get in touch with Sergeant F. R. Fitton, of the Auckland Central police uniform branch inquiries office.
