A composer punches out a music script on a prototype portable electric typewriter. Designed by a British firm, the Pavey Musigraph is a converted conventional modern typewriter which enables composers, especially those who are blind, to type music on to a sheet of paper. The copy is suitable for photographic reproduction. The machine will be demonstrated soon at the London Design Centre and orders for a proposed production model have been received from more than 60 countries.
