Prime sheep values ease

Prime sheep values eased slightly at the Addington market yeslerdav. hut prime cattle had an improved sale. A small yarding contributed to the increase in cattle values. Prime lambs continued tn sell well, with the top lambs making over $33. In all sections, good quality stock with plenty of condition was keenly sought. The Christchurch, abattoir has advised that it will not be killng lambs or sheep next week because building alterations will be taking place. With reduced killing facilities for next week, the demand from butchers for lambs and sheep is expected to be reduced. Prime lambs Values for prime lambs remained firm on last week's prices. Store sheep More interest was shown in the store sheep section than during the previous few weeks.
