1.5M watch programme
The long wait viewers have had for the current second series of "To The Manor Bom,” starring Penelope Keith, has obviously not dulled their enthusiasm. The first episode of the series shot to the top of the television ratings. On May 29, nearly 1.5 million people, representing 51 per cent of all people
aged over five years, turned to TVI to watch the first episode of “To The Manor Bom”—the biggest audience any television series has had for some time. It was the top-rating programme for the week, with its nearest rival, “The Professionals,” reaching a mere 40.9 per cent by comparison.
