Sir,—You publish many interesting columns, including those by Alison Holst. Good housekeeping for one or more people involves the self-discip-line of menu-planning, careful storage, cleanliness, and a small but well-organised vegetable garden. Wise budgeting to provide, good nutrition should be respected and encouraged
