Mobs kill suspects
Eleven people suspected to be criminals have been beaten to death by crowds in two villages in eastern India, according to a senior police officer. Inspector-General Satyabrata Basu told the Press Trust of India that the attacks had taken place in two villages in Coochbehar Dengal state. The police said that stolen goods had been found in victims' homes. — New Delhi.
