NOTICE is hereby given that the Waikari Pest Destruction Board has by Resolution dated the 10th day of June. 1982 Classified all the land in the district for the purpose of levying a rate on a graduated scale for the period commencing April 1982 and ending March 31.1983. A list setting forth such classifications may be inspected without fee at the office of the Board, c/- Boyd Knight and Co.. 776 Colombo Street. Christchurch between the hours of 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. on weekdays and such a list will be open for inspection from 9 a.m. Wednesday June 16.1982 until 5 p.m. Wednesday July 14. 1982. NOTICE, of Proportion of rate proposed by the Waikari Pest Destruction Board to be appointed in respect of the respective Classes of land in its district is set out herunder. IN THE MATTER of the Agricultural Pests Destruction Act 1967. PUBLIC NOTICE Pursuant to Section 72 of the Agricultural Pests Destruction Act 1967 and Section 52 and 71 of The Rating Act 1967 Notice is hereby given that the Waikari Pest Destruction Board intends at a meeting of the Board to be held at Waikari at 1.30 p.m. on July 15. 1982 to make and levy a rate on the land in its district for the period commencing April 1. 1982 and ending on March 31. 1983 in the following proporations in respect of the following classes of land:

60 cents per Hectare in respect of Class I of the Classification List 55.25 cents per Hectare in respect of Class II of the Classification List. 48.75 cents per Hectare in respect of Class 111 of the Classification List. 35.75 cents per Hectare in respect of Class IV of the Classification List. 19.50 cents per Hectare in respect of Class V of the Classification List. AND NOTICE is hereby further given that the said rate will become payable at the office of the Board in one sum on the 15th day of August 1982 and that the Rate Book is open for inspection without fee by ratepayers between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. Monday to Friday. An additional 10 per cent will be added to all rates unpaid at the expiration of six months from the date of demand and shall be payable and recoverable accordingly.
