June 10. 1982. the Waimairi District Council resolved. pursuant to the provisions of section 56 (1) of the Local Government Act 1974. that at the general elections to be held in October. 1983. the .Council, at that election shall ■be elected partly by the electors of the 'district as a whole and partly by the electors of each riding, and that the number of members of the Council shall be 13.. A copy of the resolutions may be inspected at the district office, corner of Jeffreys and Clyde Roads, during normal office hours. It is further publicly notified that the resolutions relating to this matter will be submitted to a special meeting of the council, to be held in the Council Chambers. Fendalton, at 7 p.m.. on Tuesday. July 6. 1982. for confirmation as a special order.
