THE UNIVERSITY OF SYDNEY invites applications for the position of REGISTRAR A senior 'administrative position in the University becoming vacant on Ist August, 1982 following the resignation of Dr K. W.-Knight to take up the position of Principal of Kuring-gai College of Advanced Education. The Registrar is directly responsible to the ViceChancellor in the supervision of a wide range of administrative'functions associated with the academic work of the University. Amongst the Registrar's responsibilities are the keeping of the records of proceedings of Senate and its committees (except the Finance Committee), the Academic Board, the Faculties and Boards of Study and their committees; arranging for the enrolment of students and the conducting of examinations; and the administration of the University's personnel office. Salary is at the professorial level,- currently 543,904 (Aust.) per annumi Superannuation, through the N.S.W. State Scheme, is available.
