Jail term for shooting
PA Hamilton A Raglan man who shot a Coromandel farmer in the back after being refused a bath was yesterday jailed for a year when he appeared for sentence in the High Court at Hamilton. Stuart Nigel McCallum, ageed 26, unemployed plumber, had earlier pleaded guilty to wounding with intent to cause grievous bodily harm. Defence counsel (Mr P. Heath) said McCallum was suffering from brain damage caused bv an accident in 1980.
