Missing girl
The police are concerned for the well-being of Amanda Kaye Martin, aged 13 (above), who failed to return to her North Beach home from Mairehau High School on Thursday. The missing girl is 156 cm (sft lin) tall, of medium build, with short brown hair, and brown eyes. Apart from her school uniform she had with her a brown nylon windbreaker, a white sweat-shirt with blue embroidery on' it, blue knickerbockers, and brown shoes. She was possibly wearing a blue backpack. Anyone who might have seen her should get in touch with the Central Police Station immediately.
