Our data processing facility has recently been expanded by the installation of an ME29 with a number of terminals. We also have a number of microcomputers. Systems are written mainly in RPGII and Cobol with some Basic and fortran. Most areas of the company requiring high volumes of information processed are already on computer. Extension of these facilities continues and increasing usage is being made of our computer in the . general areas of forecasting and modelling. To meet our expanded requirements we have a number of new positions: ANALYST PROGRAMMER: who will be responsible for design and . implementation of changes and extensions to existing systems to .meet expanded user needs, and to design and develop cost-effective new systems in conjunction with system analysts. The successful applicant will probably hold tertiary qualifications and not less than one year's programmings experience. SYSTEMS ANALYSTS: Who will be able to assume responsibility for complete systems including liaison with users in the development and specification of new operations. The successful applicant will hold tertiary qualifications and ideally not less than 5 years EDP experience including one year in systems analysts work.
