Hereford, Shorthorn bull sale
Forty Hereford and 33 Beef Shorthorn bulls will be offered for sale at the South Island Shorthorn and Hereford Bulb Sale at Timaru next Friday, June 11.
The Hereford bulls will be offered on behalf of Canterbury breeders and the Shorthorn bulls will come from throughout the South Island. The annual meeting of the New Zealand Beef Shorthorn Association will be' held after the sale. Officers, elected at the annual meeting of ■ the South ..Island /association are:—
President, Mr W; A: Austin 1 (Albury); vice-president, Mr M. H. Wells (Oxford);' secre-tary-treasurer, Mr N. McKenzie (Duntroori); other committee members, Messrs J. Guise (Wyndham), and J. W. McKenzie (Kurow).
