Trampoline successes
Two Christchurch people performed creditably at the world open and age-group trampoline championships in the United States last month.
In the world open championships at Bozeman, Montana, Alan Kerr,. aged 17, was thirteenth on the doublemini trampoline in a field of 22. Several ■ European countries, Australia, ; Canada, Japan, the United States, Russia and South Africa were represented at the championships. At the world age-group championships in Rockford, Illinois, Kirk Robinson, aged 10, was second on the trampoline and fifth* on the double-mini trampoline while Kerr was fifth in the 15 to 18 years’, age-group on the double-mini trampoline.
Four entrants in the women's open double-mini trampoline were placed between tenth and seventeenth.
