PA Auckland No New Zealand Prime Minister in recent history had made such an impact on the British public as Mr Muldoon, said the Minister of Energy (Mr Birch) upon his return from overseas yesterday.
The Prime Minister had hiade an enormous impact on the British public because of his stand on the Falklands issue, Mr Birch told a press conference.
Mr Muldoon was regularly reported in the press and appeared on television several times, and on radio.
