Central shield golf

The Central Canterbury Golf Shield is developing into a close battle between Peninsula Combined and Weedons. Peninsula Combined has a one-point lead over Weedons with two rounds remaining, but it has yet to have the bye. The two teams should be equal on points after the eighth round and. fittingly, they will meet in the ninth and final round of the competition.
