War toll Argentina has lost five limes more men than Britain in fighting for the Falklands, according to British estimates. The Defence Ministry in London has estimated its losses at 133 killed or missing since .the fighting began, while Argentina has lost about 700 men. — London. Talks to resume India and Pakistan have decided to resume attempts to ease tension between them by reopening postponed talks about a non-aggression pact. A Pakistan Foreign Ministry announcement said the decision to resume talks that broke down three months ago was made during a visit by an envoy of .the Indian, Prime Minister (Mrs Indira' Gandhi). The February meeting marked the start of a bid by India and Pakistan, who have fought three wars in the past 35 years, to halt a new slide towards confrontation arising from suspicions about each other's arms build-up. It collapsed. when Pakistan raised the Kashmir issue, one of their main disputes, at a United Nations meeting. —. 'lslamabad. Jail for kiss A Kuwaiti youth who appealed against a six-month sentence for kissing his fiancee in public has been sentenced to 42 months in jail. The Court of Appeals upheld the view of the prosecutor who had also appealed, complaining that the sentence was'insufficient punishment for “offending public decency." Kuwaiti press reports said the youth, who was' not. identified, had been arrested on a beach while kissing and hugging his 15-year-old fiancee. The couple said they loved each other and had agreed to marry, but the court ruled the consent of the girl could not be taken into account, because she was under age. — Kuwait.
