Odlins eases again
Goodman Group rose 3c to 250 c and Ballins was steady at 138 c on a mixed, moderately active national sharemarket yesterday, as both companies announced improved profits in the latest financial year. Rises,were just ahead of falls, and the N.Z.U.C. industrial index firmed 0.76 points to close at 663.65. Landmark Properties, a newly-listed Auckland company, had its firstprice change, when its contributing shares eased 1c to 2fic. Investors continued to show their disappointment with the Odlins result, the issue, losing a further 2c to 94c. Other timber issues were firmer,, including Carter Holt, Fletcher Challenge (through its big interest in Tasman Industries), and N.Z. Forest Products. The mining and oil sector was mixed, .
