21-gun salute at Akaroa
The twenty-ninth anniversary of the Queen’s coronation wil be marked by a 21gun salute by the frigate Taranaki in Akaroa Harbour at mid-day today. The frigate is making her final visit to the South Island before being decommissioned at Auckland on June 18.
