Avgas leak at railyards
Part of the Middleton rail yards, near Riccarton, was cleared after a spillage of aviation fuel yesterday. Firemen were called to the yards
at 6.7 p.m. The aviation fuel, which had leaked from a 44gallon drum, was covered with foam. No-one was injured in the incident.
