Lamb skins down
Another reduction has been made in the prices to farmers for lamb and sheep skins in the export schedule for next week. The value of shorn and woollylamb skins has been reduced by 25c on top of a 20c decrease last week. Payments for sheep skins have corrie down by 20c. The Government supplements for all grades of beef have been increased by Ic a kilogram. The supplement for prime beef will
be 7c a kilogram, manufacturing 18c. and bull beef 9c. Representative prices for lamb skins are: with o.skg of wool on a woolly skin. 100 c; Ikg. 220 c; I.skg, 345 c; and 2kg 470 c. With o.2kg of wool on a shorn skin the payment will be 18c; o.skg. 80c; Ikg, 203 c; I.skg, 328 c. A sheep skin with o.2kg of wool will be worth sc; o.skg 59c; o.Bkg, 122 c; I.lkg, 192 c; I.4kg, 257 c: I.7kg. 336 c: and 2kg. 416 c.
