Baby flown from Niue
PA Auckland A baby requiring medical attention was flown from Niue Island to Auckland last evening on an Air New Zealand Boeing 737 which diverted on its way from Apia. Kathrine Drum, aged 15 months, who was admitted to Auckland Hospital, was accompanied by her parents on the flight. The baby remained at Auckland Hospital last night where her condition was reported as stable. She will be flown to Dunedin Hospital this morning where she will be nearer other relatives. Mr Drum is employed by the New Zealand Government as an electronics engineer.
