Elections necessary

Elections will be necessary for the position of North Island vice-president and for two South Island seats on the executive of the trotting conference. Sir Janies Barnes, of Dunedin, has been returned unopposed for another term as president, while the South Island vice-president, Mr G. D. Kelly, of Ashburton, has also been returned unopposed.
