Pools fencing
PA Wellington Swimming pools ,in Wellington' City now have to be fenced.
The Wellington City Council has voted 14-4 in favour of introducing a by-law requiring both private 'and motel pools to be fenced. Under the by-law, pools must be fenced if they are deeper than 300 mm, have a capacity of 1500 litres or more, or sides less than 1.2 m high.
