Good back marker
Tony Good (Olympic) is the back marker off 48min in the annual Kairaki-to-Christchurch 20km road running race today. Although entries for the 20km road race are down slightly, handicap times have increased. Last year Good was off 42min, and Me} Radcliffe (New Brighton) and Brian Kennelly (University)
were off 41min, This year, Radcliffe, along with Grant McEwen (University) and Colin Hicks (Toe H) are off 45min, with Bruce Hunter (United) off 47min. Eric Hunter (University) and Brian Lang (Olympic) are the veteran men’s back markers off 42min, Christine Burden (University) is the backmarker in the women’s section, off 34min.
