Cup stolen
PA Auckland A “substantial reward" is being offered for information leading to the return of a ¥lO.OOO gold cup stolen from an Epsom home on Good Friday.
The Brisbane Racing Cup belongs to Mr R. Mcßean, whose horse, Irish Whip, won it in 1973. Immediately after its success, the horse was bought by an Australian.
A private investigator, Mr Gary Cok, acting on behalf of an insurance company, said the cup was of nine carat gold and about 24cm high.
