Mick Jagger ‘will never remarry’

NZPA London Rolling Stone, Mick Jagger, has vowed never to remarry. But his thousands of female fans need not despair - totally — for he has declared his continued loVe for women. Says Jaggen “I was once married to Bianca Jagger. I wouldn’t marry anyone again. “I’m almost Catholic in the way I think about it If you’re not successful at it, it isn’t a case of try, try again. In our society there is no reason to get married . . .” But he adds: “In fact, I love women. I’m absorbed by them. And if you ask any one of my women friends — not

just the ones I’ve had affairs with — they’ll tell you that I’m very nice. I have a lot of

sympathy with women.” His latest revelations come in the May issue of "Woman's World” magazine. The pop idol of the '6os and early 70s is “a little astonished” that the Stones' music is still “so widely accepted and enthusiastically enjoyed.”

He says: “We are getting applause, screams and shouts from kids who weren’t even bom when we were first popular during the '6os. . “I’m pushing 40 and should seem like an old man to them. But they come to hear us and pack the halls and stadiums.”.

Jagger has recently been reported as being 38. But by reports, of his age in the 1960 s he should now be 41.
