Wellington league team
Nine Central Districts representatives have been included in the Wellington rugby league team to meet Canterbury in Wellington next Saturday. Only the second-row forward, Mike Kuiti, has not played for Wellington previously. Kuiti has fashioned an outstanding goal-kicking re-
cord in Wellington club football this season. The team is: George Lajpold; Puhouro Haua, Wayne, Rutene, John Whittaker, Joseph Lajpold; Lance Pupuke, Gary Campbell; Peter Mellars, Elvis Williams, Kevin Tamati; Tama Tua, Mike Kuiti; Rodney Rasmussen (captain). Reserves, Sam Stewart, Snow Waihi, Monti Henry, Ricky Hunt.
