Public Notices NEW ZEALAND WOOL BOARD ELECTION OF WOOLGROWERS’ REPRESENTATIVES NOMINATIONS are invited for the election of two Woolgrowers’ Representatives on the above Board. Under the provisions of the Wool Board Election Regulations, 1946, and pursuant to Section (4) (2) of the Wool Industry Act, 1977, an Election of Woolgrowers’ Representatives on the New Zealand Wool Board will be held this year. A woolgrower means a person carrying on business as a sheep farmer and owning not less, than 100 sheep. Nominations of candidates to fill the two vacancies close at the Board's office before Noon on Wednesday, May 26, 1982. Specimen forms of nomination may be obtained on application to the undersigned. ELECTION OF DELEGATES TO THE ELECTORAL COMMITTEE OF THE NEW ZEALAND MEAT PRODUCERS BOARD AND THE NEW ZEALAND WOOL BOARD NOMINATIONS of candidates for election as delegates to the Electoral Committee of the New Zealand Meat Producers Board and the New Zealand Wool Board will be received at the office of the New Zealand Meat Producers Board up to noon on Wednesday, June 2, 1982: For the purpose of the election the boundaries have been constituted to provide for twenty-three electoral districts. These districts will elect twenty-five delegates who will constitute an Electoral Committee which will assemble in Wellington on August 24 and 25,1982, to consider the annual report of the Wool Board and to elect the producers’ representatives on that Board. The Committee will also meet on August 26, 1982 for the midyear meeting with the Meat Board.

Specimen forms for nomination of delegates, and full particulars regarding electoral districts, persons entitled to vote, etc., may be had on application to the undersigned or from Provincial Branches of the Federated Farmers (Inc). -Attention is drawn to the fact that candidates must be nominated and seconded by “farmers” as defined in the Regulations, viz: Persons owning not less than 100 sheep, or owning not less than 100 cattle carried exclusively for the purposes of beef production.
