WAIMEA COUNTY COUNCIL NELSON REGIONAL SEWERAGE SCHEME CONSTRUCTION OF TRUNK SEWER MAIN TENDERS ARE INVITED FOR CONTRACT 6653/C3, the third section of sewer rising main construction for the Nelson Regional Sewerage Scheme comprising the laying of 2992 m length of 525 mm asbestos cement pipes for the Rising Main and the supply of pipes for and construction of an associated 288 m length of 300 mm diameter gravity sewer. The pipeline route generally follows the edge of the estuary at Stoke and Monaco between Saxton's Road, Stoke and the existing Stoke Sewage Treatment works including two crossings of the estuary. 525 mm diameter pipes for the Contract are stored in two areas near the proposed pipeline route and shall be uplifted by the Contractor prior to construction.
