Beachhaven case inquiries scaled down
PA Auckland The Auckland police have scaled down their inquiries into the death of . a Beachhaven man. The headless and handless body of John Paul Gibbons, aged 28, was found on Tuesday morning at the bottom of a steep bank south-west of Warkworth.
Detective Inspector M. G. Charles said yesterday that there was still no sign of the man’s clothes or the weapon used to sever the head and hands from the body. . A'- man, aged 24, has appeared in the North Shore District Court charged with murder.
