Glider pilot injured
The pilot of a hang-glider was admitted to the intensive-care unit of Nelson Hospital after crashing yesterday. Mr Tony Haycock, whose address was not available from the Nelson police last evening, was gliding with other members of the Tas-
man Hang-Gliding Club from Jenkins Hill. Nelson, when he apparently lost control of the glider, which dropped 20m to the ground. He suffered a broken arm. a broken leg. and chest injuries. His condition last evening was given as satisfactory.
