M.P.s, mayors to join fast
PA Auckland At least nine members of Parliament and the mayors of Auckland and Hamilton are among thousands of New Zealanders who have registered to fast for 40 hours, starting on March 26, to raise money for refugee programmes. The executive director of the World Vision organisation. Mr Peter McNee. said the target was more than $1 million.
