S.F.M. appointment
PA Invercargill The chief executive of the rural and trading sector of Fletcher Challenge, Ltd, and chairman of Wrightson NMA, Ltd, Mr lan Donald, of Wellington, has been appointed to the board of Southland Frozen Meat, Ltd. The appointment, announced after an S.F.M.
board meeting by the chairman (Mr J, B. Gordon) fills the casual vacancy caused by the retirement of the former chairman, Sir Alan Gilkison, after last month's annual general meeting. Wrightson NMA, Ltd, which has a 20 per cent holding in S.F.M., is the company's largest shareholder.
