A controversial biography of the Egyptian President, Anwar Sadat, appeared within weeks of his assassination last year. The authors of “Sadat” are two of the most experienced and committed British journalists in the Middle East, David Hirst and Irene Beeson. Cairo correspondent, Bob Jobbins, has some strong criticism for the Hirst-Bee-son biography of Sadat. "Nuclear Power for Beginners” and "Capitalism for Beginners” are amongst the titles of a book series published by the Writers and Readers Co-operative.
