In the South Island fine with light winds apart from moderate afternoon sea breezes aboutthe east coast. Nelson, Buller: Fine, with frosts likely; becoming milder; light winds. Marlborough: Fresh or strong southerlies about the coast gradually moderating and cloud breaking; fine inland, with light winds; milder.
