Education soc. objects defined
The Canterbury Computer Education Society has its origins in a gathering in May last year when a large number of interested people met and decided to form the group. At the annual meeting last month a motion was passed to make the group into an incorporated society. Mr Rodney Harries, from the University of Canterbury, was re-elected president of the. society. The objects of the society are to:
© Increase general understanding of the use of the computer as a learning aid. @ Improve computer awareness among teachers, students and the community in general. © Provide a means of communication between persons interested in computers in education. 0 Collect and disseminate information about computers in education.
