Anzac Fellowships

PA Wellington The 1982 Anzac Fellowship awards, which enable three New Zealanders to study in Australia, have been announced by the Minister of Internal Affairs (Mr Highet). Mr Trevor ■ Morley, of Wellington; Mr Donald Rice, of Auckland; and Miss Kirsty Caro, of Palmerston North, are the New Zealand recipients.

The three Australians chosen to study in New Zealand are Mr Rex Stoessiger, a research officer in the Education Department in Tasmania; Mr Warren Kerr, an architect and health planner who will be attached to the Health Department;

and an environmental studies teacher,. Mr William Mole, who will study deer farming methods. Mr Morley, a company security manager for a Wellington department store, will spend four months in Australia studying aspects of retail security. A veterinary radiographer at Massey University’s Veterinary School, Miss Caro will study Australian methods of student training, for three months.. Mr Rice, a lecturer at Auckland Teachers’ College, will spend five months in Australia studying training courses and associated projects in special education procedures.
