Thosada Rose fit
Special correspondent Hastings Thosada Rose was let off with an easy workout yesterday morning in her final trial for tomorrow's $15,000 Wakefield Challenge Stakes at Trentham. Galloping on the plough (fast), Thosada Rose ran 600 m in 40s. She was under a strong hold throughout and looked well. Sousa, a runner in the Palliser Highweight at Trentham. took Imin 4.5 s for a solo 1000 m, the last 600 m in 38.25. He was placed in the highweight at Trentham last Saturday.
Red Agent ran a fine trial for the Eastbourne Handicap with 800 m in 48.95, the last 600 m in 37.15. He has obivously thrived since winning at the Rangitikei meeting.
