The successful shooters were: Graham Webber (Auckland), Bill Iles (Australia), John McMillan (Hamilton), Jon Whittakers (Australia), Black (Timaru), J. Hedley (Otautau), G. Brears (Taumaranui), and N. Owens (Frankton). Only a short shoot-off was required, . after some marathon affairs earlier in
the week, and Black emerged the winner after going 11 targets. McMillan, 10 targets, was the runner-up, and Whittakers, nine targets, took third place.:. The Deb Oliver Trophy for the highest score by a woman went to Helen Dittmer, of Australia.
