It is the focus of a wide range of local activities as well as events from further afield and the appointee should have the personality necessary to relate to a diverse range of people. It is the policy of the Board that the complex be run as a business to minimise subsidy from public funds and applicants will be required to demonstrate past achievements in management, especially in the area of marketing. Whilst a knowledge of the arts will be considered an advantage, general business experience is of equal importance. In view of the foregoing, it is likely that the appointee will be between 30-50 years of age.
