Hijack charges
Five young Tanzanian men have appeared in court in Essex charged with hijacking a Tanzanian airliner which was finally grounded in Britain last week-end after flying across Africa and the Middle East. The five accused, all in their 20s, could face life sentences if convicted. They were remanded in custody.—London.
