Suspended
PA Cromwell Apprentice jockey, Colin Brown, was suspended until March 20 at the Cromwell Jockey Club's meeting yesterday. Brown,- who rode Victory Blaze in the Upper Clutha Maiden, was found by the judicial committee to have shifted in near the 200 m and caused crowding to Caramack and ' Royal Loch. Napiat was a late scratching from the Travelodge Handicap after he bolted for a circuit and a half of the track during his preliminary. The horse was found to be in a distressed state by • the club’s veterinary surgeon.
