N.Z. sharemarket steady
The New Zealand sharemarket was steady yesterday, with rises and falls about in balance. Harvey continued its run and put on another 5c to 360 c; Allied Farmers and Reid Farmers were strong in the rural sector, but Crown, Dalgety; and NZ Farmers continued to ease. CCL, Manthel and Tolleys continued their recovery. Command put on 5c to 260 c ahead of its report which is due soon. Newspaper shares were again in demand. Miners were weak. 0
