Some of the cost of the
forum will be met by the Broadcasting Tribunal, which will also bring in overseas guest speakers, including the chairman of the Australian Broadcasting Tribunal (Mr David Jones) who will speak on his tribunal’s current inquiry into cable and subscriber television. A first-hand account of starting an FM radio station will be given by the manager of an Australian station; Known as “Issues 82,” the forum is open to management and production staff from private and public broadcasting.
