M. O’Brien recovers
M. O'Brien and Company. Ltd. doubled unaudited net profit to $38,518 after tax credit of $4432 and nil tax. in the six months ended December 31, 1981. (Comparative figures on the same basis for 1980 showed a profit of $19,294 after tax of $1934.)
. In the latest full year the profit was halved, from $204,061 to $103,948; the profit for the six months ended December 31, 1979, was $117,725.
An interim dividend of 2.5 c an ordinary share (5 per cent) and 1.25 c a new ordinary share (2.5 per cent) will be’ paid on April 30.
The ordinary' share register and new ordinary share register will close at 5 p.m. on April 16 and reopen at 9 a.m. .on April 19 to establish entitlement to the dividend.
