Tribute to Lennon
NZPA London Paul McCartney has included a tribute to John Lennon on his new solo album, “Tug of War,” to be released next month. The song, called “Here Today,” is reminiscent of the Beatles’
classic, “Yesterday,” and features a string quartet, said the London “Standard.” George Martin, who worked on the album, said it sounded like a love song to a past lover. Lennon’s name is not mentioned.
